Salzwedel is a town in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany with a very nice historic part having numerous half-timbered houses (some of them from the Middle Ages). The historic city is partly encompassed by the historic city wall and town gates.
The small village Trittenheim in Germany is situated alongside the river Moselle and surrounded by numerous vineyards. Trittenheim is an ideal starting point for trips alongside the Moselle and gives opportunity to take landscape photographs, but also from Roman monuments in the nearby city Trier.
