By focus stacking some 30 – 50 macro photos of sprouting brown beans taken with a Nikon D800 and the Nikon 105 mm macro lens a single macro image was created with every part sharp, i.e. a large depth of field.

Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road
During our holidays in the past years in Austria we crossed several times the border to visit Italy. Our favorite route is taking the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road at the end of the Ötztal in Austria to South Tirol in Italy. When the weather is right it is possible to take some beautiful photos from the surrounding mountains and valleys, like the Seebertal at the Italian side.
