Once in a while I use Google search to find out where my photos have been used by searching on my name and some specific keywords. In 2016, I discovered one of my images of the Ludwigsburger hütte in the Pitztal valley in Austria (Tirol) had been used in a brochure of the Pitztal tourist bureau.
This image, made by me in 2014 during a hike towards the Ludwigsburger Hütte, ended up in the brochure “Pitztal Steinbock Wander- und Erlebniswoche 22.- 26. AUGUST 2016“.

The tourist bureau did not get in contact with me, so the only source could be an internet search on “Ludwigsburger hütte”. I did not get paid for it, but they added a copyright notice in the left margin of the brochure.
